1977 and are not 28 years old before February 15, 2005

citizenship before the applicants were born

the parents was born outside Canada and, before February 15,
1977, did not retain citizenship or register as a Canadian
citizen born abroad
Canadian citizens if one of
the parents is a Canadian citizen because he or she was born
outside Canada between January 1, 1947, and February 14, 1977
and although eligible to be registered as a Canadian citizen at
birth, was not registered until after February 14, 1977
Canadian citizens if one of
parents is a Canadian citizen because he or she was born outside
Canada after February 14, 1977, to a Canadian parent.
